My name is Anja, and my path into children’s fashion began long before I became a mom myself. During my studies in Fashion and Textile Design, I discovered how much I loved designing for kids and babies. That love only deepened during my master’s degree, and later at my first job with S. Oliver, where I worked in the junior department specializing in babywear. Those years shaped my understanding of what children’s clothing should truly be about — softness, safety, and joy.

When I became pregnant with my first child, everything shifted into focus. As a new mom, I wanted only the best for my baby: natural, baby-friendly fabrics, handmade details, non-toxic materials, and transparency about where every piece came from. At the same time, the designer in me couldn’t let go of aesthetics. I wanted products that were not only safe and practical, but also beautifully cohesive and timeless. For me, this balance between function, responsibility, and timeless design is at the very heart of Gratostudio.
